Fri Oct 21, 2011 11:17 pm
andygty » theres plenty of old posts on this and all say the same. some say the 250 is quicker, some the 300. I've had both and out of the 2, the 300 was quicker, but thats according to the super accurate speedo  . again, top speed depends on the individual scoot. 80mph is about the norm
Fri Oct 21, 2011 7:46 pm
barcardimick » hi all what sort of top speed should i be getting from my 300gts,ive heard the 250s are quicker.
Thu Oct 20, 2011 5:51 pm
CheekyThomas » Nothing to it, just rub the shoes and the drum with some 80grit... get rid of the shine... but ill do a how-too on the next one i get if you want?
Wed Oct 19, 2011 5:56 pm
TWIST n GONE » CHEEKY any chance you could do one of your photo stories on how to clean and rough up a GTS clutch?
Sun Oct 16, 2011 7:58 pm
monty9120 » yes i am. had luggage on yesterday and the front end was all over the place. looked at the shocks and there on soft. didnt fancy stripping my knuckles until i have 5 mins lol
Sun Oct 16, 2011 2:56 pm
andygty » yes monty, as smudger says, its a bit fiddly, but can be done without removing stuff. again, I've done it in the past, using the shock tool
Sun Oct 16, 2011 1:36 pm
smudger » Standard shocks Mont? I've adjusted mine with the air box in place, I take it you are using the tool from the vespa tool kit?
Sat Oct 15, 2011 6:35 pm
monty9120 » is there a way of adjusting the shocks on a gts without taking the airbox off.
Fri Oct 14, 2011 8:25 pm
CheekyThomas » You don't owe me ought fella... More than welcome ;)
