yeah, trimmed 11mm of this and extended the slots. Although you can see where the front pipe widens, its only just half on the wide part. bit of a bodge really.

when this was done and everything left a bit loose it fitted without issue, manifold end was much better as well.

I hope GPR will be extending the wider part of the front pipe and trimming the stub on further models.

its still close to the water pump, but I dont have any springs to worry about now.

does look nice what has been done to make it fit ..i took mine off today as its not sealing around the inlet stub very well someone suggested silicone sealant but i fcuked them off at the high port saying it will knack the lambda sensor so i got a gianneli on now seems quiet ive also fond mine to restrict top speed to 73 mph :o let me know how yours performs i might just be riding like a pussy though

Steve. please consider that your's was an early version that you modified to fit. Because you modified the bracket (which turned out to be the wrong solution) your exhaust is mounted at the wrong angle. I do not if correctly fitted it will have these problems and would happily swap it for a new one. We have had one dyno'd in the UK and there is no power loss (or gain) so your loss of speed is NOT down to the GPR unless you are running it in race trim? Regards Arthur

Had to trim 11mm off the stub attached to the endcan and extend the slots, it only just fitted the wider area of the front pipe then.

havent had a chance to test properly, we will see.

Point of fact Steve, you did not "have" to do anything. I notified you that they had fitted the incorrect inlet plates to the cans on the first few of the new version that had been sent through. I offered to replace it before you fitted it or told you how to mod it, which you chose to do. I realise they shouldn't have got it wrong again and it is very embarrasing but the truth is the truth, yes? Regards Arthur. It does look damn smart on mind.

No, you are absolutely right Arthur. What I should have said to make it clear was.

I order to Fit this exhaust we had to trim 11mm off the stub on the tailcan and die grind out the slots to be able to clamp it properly even then it doesnt fit the widened part of the header pipe properly"

I dont have any knowledge of the "third" version so cant really comment.

Youre supposed to. :D

It was a poor attempt at humour as my exhaust is finally fitted.

Just an update as there have been several PM's as to whether the pipe is going ok,

Due to work etc I havent put as many miles on the pipe as I would like and I think its fair to do a few before I comment.

Ive done 100+ and so far everythings good.

Will update all those interested soon (week off next week :)
