me & the mrs . stayed over in Manchester last night after seeing Peter Kay at the MEN bloody fantastic , met the VCB party on the M6 at Tebay services on our way home(in the mini) i think they might have got a bit wet en route , any way safe riding to all attending and bring some sunshine , please

went up a run to see it going,,cold n wet but good turnoot,,saw a good few gts

Many thanks to everyone who turned up, took part & supported this commerative event ,despite the weather being a bit unkind everything else went fabulously - from Friday nights meet & greet , to Saturday morning registration before the off. Then played out spectacularly by a piper & accompanied en route out of town by 4 Central Scotland Police m/cycle cops.Media photographers were there and the page below was in Scotlands "best selling " Sunday paper the following day , more press items will be posted here later this week.
We had riders from all over including , a gathering of friends from this site from Ireland & England , our friend Donald over from Belgium - with his mate Gea from France & a brave guy who had sailed/ridden from Shetland , unfortunately too many too list individually here.
Although not a race in any sense of the word 1st home was a Mr. Norrie Kerr ................. riding a yellow GTS 300 !!

Afterwards our evening ceilidh was a total blast , again ALL attending had a ball , fabulous band - great dancing , a good buffet & excellent raffle to raise money for Vespa World Days London 2012

Just like to say a big THANK-YOU to everyone involved in the organizing & commitment to putting on this fantastic event, from start to finish the whole experience of this event will stay with us for ever, Friday meet & greet, the ride on Saturday through some of the most breathtaking scenery that even the weather didn't spoil, Saturday nights ceilidh night, at first we was a bit apprehensive as we had not been to one before, but soon got into the spirit of things & it was great to see & understand the pride of the Scottish, handed from generation to generation it was a proud sight to see. we were made welcome where ever we went, the best scootering event we've been on so far WELL DONE TO ALL INVOLVED.
