I have noticed that my 09 Fuoco doesn't like the cold weather.

As the bike is left outside covered with a bike cover at night, - I have noticed lately that I have a problem starting her in the morning, always when the temp is -1 onwards. If the temp is above zero,- its fine, 1st time starting.

This morning 8 attempts, once I can start her, she's fine - Daft little batteries on these though, which might be the problem?
Is there anything on the market for boosting the battery indoors during the colder nights?

i would get yourself a optimate or something similar check your battery levels too and this will help maintain your charge for cold mornings.

What does it do in the mornings... does it turn over healthy but not start, or is it trying to start but wont, or does it seem to be struggling?

They are very voltage sensitive as the injection system, dash and stand ECUs all need a good supply of power.

There was a ECU update beginning of 2009 which helped starting and cold running, so might be worth checking thats upto date...

It will try to fire up, turns over ok, just it can take numerous attempts - but only when its been well below freezing at night.
Once it does fire up, it ticks over ok, no problems.
Do not have a problem if the temp is zero or above, thats why I thought it was a cold weather issue.
