just noticed the one you have listed are 17G

the ones on the sip site are 19g and 22g

What does cheeky think what weight to go for or get both the 19 & 22 and half and half them?

There's comparative testing done by folks on the Modern Vespa site. I actually ordered some (16g) direct from a guy (user name Dr Pulley) on that site. Felt a bit dodgey, but I got them through quickly and they look good *shrug*.
Might well be trying them this Saturday if Cheeky has the time after my first service and a few other things that have come up this first week with my new Fugly ;)

It's my (limited) understanding that the weight simply effects the speed with which they are thrown out so the time it takes for the clutch to engage. I suppose if the clutch engages too early then performance might actually suffer - I got the 16g weight because posts/tests on the MV site indicated it was a slight improvement over stock for 'willingness' to accelerate, but I mostly want them to just smooth things out. Supposedly things are less 'grundly' (nice precise term there!) with any Dr Pulley sliders.

Not the "explosive acceleration" on the packaging hehe, but it seems to have gotten rid of some vibration when tootling around at low speed. It has maybe improved 'willingness' for revs to rise in the mid-range - throw open the throttle when you're at 40mph-ish and the revs go to 7000 and you get a very nice progression up to the 70s.

I think it pretty much does what the folks on MV said - adds a few hundred RPM and smooths things out a little.

Worth the money I think - they are also supposed to last longer than rollers.

I might get some heavier and see what it does, not in a rush to though - still enjoying what the 500 does ;)
